WILD & WONDERFUL WEST VIRGINIA 5 DAYS / JULY 7 Day 1. Welcome aboard our motorcoach to your wild and wonderful summer get-away. We begin our trip as we journey through Illinois, Indiana and Ohio to our accommodations for tonight. Lodging: Comfort Inn, Chillicothe, OH Day 2. After breakfast we continue our travels to West Virginia. This morning our visit to Blenko Glass will give you the opportunity to see the making of hand blown glassware and visit the Designer’s corner, where nine leading American stained glass studios have each contributed for display, a beautiful exhibit of their artistry. This afternoon we visit Charleston, the capital city of West Virginia. A local guide will join us to show us the highlights of the city. Tonight enjoy the outdoor performance of “Hatfields and McCoys” at the Cliffside Amphitheater in the New River Gorge National Park. Lodging: Hampton Inn, Beckley, WV (2 nights) Day 3. This morning we have breakfast then return to New River Gorge National Park for a raft trip through the scenic river valley with Class VI River Runners. You will receive instructions, practice and a professional guide will assist to paddle our rafts through the spectacular scenery. A river side lunch is included. There will be a shopping trip to Tamarack Craft Mall for those not wishing to go rafting. We’ll return to motel to freshen up before attending another show tonight at the Cliffside Amphitheater,“Honey in the Rock”. Day 4. This morning after breakfast we’ll drive across the spectacular New River Gorge Bridge and stop at the Visitor Center to marvel at this giant construction feat. Tonight we enjoy a Boarding House Dinner & Jamboree Show at Renfro Valley, KY. Lodging: Heritage Inn & Suites, Mount Vernon, KY Day 5. Breakfast is served before we depart for home with memories of our wild & wonderful adventure to West Virginia. Included Meals: 4 breakfasts 1 lunch 1 dinner
