GRAND OLE OPRY’S 83^rd BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Each October is like Homecoming in Nashville as stars return to celebrate the birthday of the Grand Ole Opry; a special time you won’t want to miss!

Day 1.  We travel to Nashville enjoying the fall scenery and meeting our traveling companions.  This evening we board the General Jackson for dinner and the show.  Our lodging this evening is at the beautiful Opryland Hotel.  This is a destination in itself and assures us of better seating for the shows.   Lodging:  Gaylord Opryland Nashville, Nashville, TN (2 nights)

Day 2.  This morning begins a full day of birthday celebration.  Special activities of the day include a self-guided tour of the Ryman Museum to also include a backstage tour, and, an Opry House backstage tour.  This afternoon, we enjoy a picnic lunch before attending a special Birthday Show at the Grand Ole Opry House.  The highlight this evening is a special Grand Ole Opry Birthday Show featuring many regular and returning country stars.

Day 3.  This morning we have a buffet breakfast in the hotel before heading for home.  This celebration changes from year to year but always leaves one with many special memories.
